My name is Sajeel Shafqat, and I am from Pakistan. As a Christian, I have faced challenges, as it is rare for minorities to have access to education and opportunities for higher learning. However, due to my strong academic performance, I was fortunate to attend good schools and colleges, earning scholarships along the way.
During my Bachelor's in Software Engineering, I actively engaged in various software projects, which helped me develop my leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. My commitment to academic excellence earned me a scholarship throughout my undergraduate studies, and I was recognized in several coding competitions, which further fueled my passion for software development.
As a Software Engineer, I have built on my knowledge and passion, excelling in my field. My core competencies include HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JSON, Java, PHP, C++, and the .NET framework with ADO.
I have also received specialized training in web development, particularly in e-commerce platforms like WordPress, Magento, Shopify, and OpenCart. In my previous roles at Tecknologics and Eweberinc, I managed the entire web development process, from designing new websites to testing and maintenance.
Over the past five years, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, including Shopify stores such as Sweet July, Vitaboom, Dogfy Pet, Ji Mei Flower, Natural Farm Pet, and The Nutr, as well as WordPress clients like Hero Janitorial, Doctor Bethany Cook, and Translators and Writers.
However, throughout my career, I have faced challenges in finding a supportive and inclusive work environment due to religious discrimination. This has hindered my career growth, and I am now seeking a role in an environment that values inclusivity and diversity.
Your job position is an ideal fit for me, as I am a skilled Shopify developer who thrives in a non-discriminatory and inclusive workplace. I am confident that I would be a productive and supportive member of your team.
